* Eligible trainees and apprentices will have their qualification funded by the Department of Education and Training (DET) under the User Choice Program

Our Industry Engagement Advisor will meet with you to customise a Workforce
Development plan. This development plan will be the road map towards your
employee’s achieving their qualification.
We will arrange to visit your business to officially induct you and your employees into their customised programs. The Australian Apprenticeship Support Network will register each employee’s details with the Queensland Government’s Department of Education and Training (DET) and issue training contracts for each employee. Both the employer and employee will receive written confirmation of the apprenticeship or traineeship being registered.
Our Trainer will contact you to confirm the best-suited time to come out and commence the program with your employees. Trainer’s conduct onsite visits every 4 – 6 weeks depending on your availability. Our highly skilled Trainers demonstrate how to complete the task safely and correctly in the workplace, the student then gains exposure to this task in the workplace under supervision. Our trainer returns to complete onsite assessments and observations to ensure the student can complete the task correctly and safely in the workplace.
During the apprenticeship or traineeship, Australian Apprentice Support Network will facilitate payment of your government incentives. You will receive claim forms in the post, these incentives will be available at different times and are subject to eligibility criteria.
Your Industry Engagement Officer from QTG and AASN representative will be in contact with you throughout the duration of your employee’s Apprenticeship/Traineeship to see how things are progressing with your business and the training program. You will have the full support of the trainer that has been allocated to your company
When you, the student and the trainer agree that all requirements of the training and development plan have been achieved then the apprenticeship is ready to be completed. All parties will sign what’s known as a completion agreement. Then we will issue the successful student with a nationally recognised qualification.
All of our qualifications are competency based, meaning timeframes on completing apprenticeships will depend on a number of factors, such as: the individuals learning needs, their previous knowledge and experience within the industry and the exposure they have to undertake the tasks that are necessary to achieve each unit of competency
